Challenges

  • Challenging site with less-than-ideal conditions for sludge drying.
  • Environmentally sensitive site with creek running along the back of the site.
  • Challenging site due to proximity of residential estate.

The outcome

After developing a robust set of management plans to deal with the challenges of the site backed up by a proven history in being able to deliver high level outcome on similar sites TDG was awarded the project.

In spite of the challenging site, tight time frames & environmentally sensitive location TDG were able to successfully delver the project in line with the project scope on time and on budget. By using local suppliers and a team of experienced internal operators the lagoons were desludged, sludge dried and stockpiled safely and in line with the project plan submitted to the client prior to mobilization.

TDG’s unmanned (remote operated) dredge is unmatched when it comes to delivering efficient desludging of wastewater lagoons. The minimal footprint requirements of the equipment profile make it an ideal solution for sites that have challenging site constraints.
