Providing performance and efficiency with specialised sedimentation and vegetation removal

Safety & Accessibility

Our remote-controlled machines prioritise operator safety, even in confined spaces, while providing access to steep terrains and hard-to-reach locations.

Efficiency

With Creek to Peak capabilities, our spider excavator can operate in water up to 2 meters deep, delivering efficient results in the most challenging environments.

Versatility

Our machinery handles a wide range of tasks, including mowing, slashing, mulching, and land clearing, making it perfect for maintaining swales, easements, culverts, and basins.

Flexibility

Equipped with a variety of attachments such as hydraulic thumbs, buckets, mulchers, and mowers, our machinery adapts to any task, ensuring versatility and productivity on every project.

Excavators

Our mini excavator, equipped with a dedicated auxiliary hydraulic pump, enables simultaneous travel and multi-functioning at full power, ensuring optimal productivity with high flow attachments. When paired with the extendable boom arm on our grab truck, we deliver a robust and efficient team for any job.
We offer a comprehensive range of excavator hire solutions, featuring the latest attachments. Our excavators can handle projects, small or large, while delivering exceptional quality and performance.

Posi Track

The Posi Track Loader offers a specialised solution for demanding vegetation-management tasks such as mulching, brush-cutting, vegetation control, and mowing. This cutting-edge machine is equipped with a powerful engine and a high-flow/high-pressure auxiliary hydraulic system that ensures optimal performance when using high production, hydro-mechanical attachments, making it efficient and cost-effective in challenging vegetation-management applications.

Spider Excavator

Our state-of-the-art mobile walking excavators are engineered for challenging environments and demanding tasks with exceptional efficiency. They operate in water up to 2 meters deep, cross railway tracks without contact, and fit under ceilings as low as 3 meters, offering unmatched versatility. Equipped with a lifting capacity of 5.5 tonnes,an operating reach of 8.5 meters, and the ability to handle gradients steeper than those people can walk, these excavators excel in confined spaces and steep slopes.

They come with a range of attachments, including a grapple saw for precise cutting, a mulcher for effective vegetation management, brush cutters for clearing overgrowth, and a Rototilt R4 tilt rotator for enhanced manoeuvrability. Ideal for various applications such as removing solid waste, maintaining and restoring stormwater drainage canals, dredging, and emergency response operations, these excavators deliver top-tier performance and reliability.

The Green Climber

Our remote-controlled Green Climber is designed to enhance operator safety while performing tasks in confined spaces and on steep terrain, handling slopes up to 60 degrees in any direction. This versatile machine excels in mowing, slashing, mulching, and clearing land on challenging inclines, as well as maintaining swales, easements, culverts, basins, and roadsides. It efficiently removes debris and sediment from remote areas, making it an excellent alternative to a PTO tractor for grass mowing, especially for roadside and open space maintenance where passing traffic poses a risk.

The Culvert Cleaner

The Green Climber’s superior manoeuvrability around drains and culverts surpasses that of a rotary finishing mower, ensuring thorough and efficient operations. Additionally, its remote-controlled culvert cleaning capability allows it to clear large culverts (greater than 1200mm) effortlessly, with the bucket handling the work and protecting our team members from danger. This machine simplifies debris removal and facilitates easy loading into trucks, streamlining the operation.

Grab Truck

TDG Environmental utilises Clamshell Grab Trucks as an innovative solution to increase productivity with the cleaning of large, open-channel culverts and GPTs. Grab trucks are efficient as they are capable of removing bulk waste with an extendable clamshell boom. The boom arm has a reach of up to 19 meters and can be used for the removal and handling of large pit and access chamber lids, lifting of cleaning baskets, and cleaning of trash racks. The clamshell bucket can easily remove large rocks, branches, and other objects that may have found their way into the stormwater and sewer system. Our Grab Trucks can decant liquid waste via strainers to minimise free water prior to tipping to reduce disposal costs.

Our self-loading Grab Trucks are also ideal for stockpile transport, material placement, backfilling and waste removal.

Truck and Dog

Our truck and dog service offers efficient bulk haulage and soil removal with a high payload capacity. This heavy duty vehicle combination features a standard truck with a tipping body and an attached trailer, or “dog,” which also has a tipping body and articulates separately. This setup enhances manoeuvrability in confined spaces and allows for larger loads, making it a cost-effective solution for transporting bulk materials such as soil, gravel, sand, and demolition waste. With increased tonnage capacity, our service optimises both efficiency and cost-effectiveness for your bulk material transport needs.

Dredging

Our innovative dredging systems enable the continuous removal of sludges, biosolids, and other materials from treatment plant lagoons, ponds, dams, and other water bodies. We can remove settled solids and floating materials during the treatment process so there is no impact on the performance of a live plant.

The Remote Operated Dredge (ROD) improves operator safety by eliminating the need to work on-water.

Our operation includes specialised equipment such as a Remote Operated Dredge (ROD), float, odour control tools, and other ancillary equipment and employ experienced full-time operators who complete the work to a high standard. All wastes

Mainstream Recycling

Mainstream Recycling is our EPA-licensed recycling facility business solely dedicated to processing and recycling stormwater, street sweeper, and non destructive digging wastes. Our innovative design enables us to recycle up to 98% of the recovered waste collected from stormwater/GPTs, NDD, and street sweeper materials. Our goal is to create a circular economy whereby we process and reuse stormwater waste as an additive to the landscaping industry.
