Two operators were mobilised to Ingham, North Queensland, to complete smoke testing on sections of the sewer network. Non-toxic smoke was introduced into the sewer lines to identify potential leaks, defects, illegal connections, and inflow or infiltration points. Any smoke release observed during testing was recorded for further investigation or rectification, assisting in assessing the condition and performance of the sewer network.
Scope of Work:
The project was delivered safely, efficiently, and with minimal public disruption, providing the Council with critical, highly accurate data regarding their sewer infrastructure. By leveraging international expertise from New Zealand to upskill our local operators and successfully rolling out Utility Track for precise defect logging, we delivered a comprehensive asset assessment. This effort not only equipped the client with the actionable insights needed for targeted maintenance but also established a fully trained crew and a proven operational template for future remote testing deployments.
