At TDG, we are committed to embracing diversity as a core strength of our organisation. We value the broad range of backgrounds, perspectives, and experiences our people bring, across culture, language, education, gender, age, ability, and more. These differences contribute to a stronger, more connected workplace and help us deliver better outcomes for the communities we serve.
We’re focused on creating an environment where everyone feels respected, supported, and empowered to contribute. Through inclusive leadership, open communication, and people-first practices, we aim to ensure that every team member has the opportunity to thrive.
Diversity not only strengthens our teams, it enhances the way we think, collaborate, and grow together as an organisation.
TDG Environmental acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of the lands on which we live, work, and operate across Australia.
We recognise their enduring connection to Country, culture and community and offer our respects to Elders past, present and emerging leaders.
Our Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) reflects our commitment to building respectful relationships and creating meaningful opportunities with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
We believe reconciliation is a shared journey. Through our Reflect RAP, we aim to foster understanding, celebrate culture, and contribute to positive change within our community and industry.
This plan outlines practical actions that guide how we engage, learn, and grow together. It’s more than a document, it’s a promise to listen, learn, and act.

Gender parity is a business and social imperative. The publication of gender pay gap data is part of an important conversation we must have across Australia to ensure we are building equitable workplace that provide opportunity and reward high-performance for all employees.
At TDG, we value our people, the communities we serve, and the environment we work in. We build strong relationships with like-minded organisations to help create lasting, positive change, always guided by our core values.

TDG was proud to attend the KARI Foundation’s 2025 Thank You Lunch yesterday- an inspiring afternoon celebrating the incredible impact KARI continues to have in supporting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children, families, and communities. A heartfelt thank you to the KARI team for your ongoing commitment and for bringing partners together to reflect on the achievements of the past year. Congratulations to all award recipients- your dedication to strengthening community programs and events is truly outstanding. We’re honoured to stand alongside KARI in supporting meaningful initiatives, and we look forward to continuing our partnership in 2026.
We’re proud to have taken the first step in our reconciliation journey with the launch of our Reflect Reconciliation Action Plan- a formal commitment to strengthening relationships, building cultural understanding, and creating meaningful opportunities with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities. Guided by Reconciliation Australia, our Reflect RAP lays the foundations for deeper listening, learning, and meaningful action. We’re honoured to feature original artwork by Aboriginal artist Arthur Conlon, representing the regions where TDG operates and highlighting our connection to place and community. This is not just a document or a formality – it reinforces our ongoing commitment to the principles of reconciliation and to creating sustainable impact across the five dimensions: relationships, respect, opportunities, equality, and unity.
Thank you for joining us in celebrating Te Wiki o te Reo Māori! He aha te wiki, he aha te rā. Ka pai te manaaki a ngā kaimahi o Whangārei. (What a week, what a day. So well received by our Whangārei staff.) A week close to our hearts, especially for our Māori and Kiwi whānau here in Aotearoa. A huge thank you to the people who helped bring it to life- Cat & Annette for your support, Kane & Ed for your input, and Rohan & whānau for preparing the hāngī that brought us all together. One of our team shared that when they were at primary school, this part of their identity was actively suppressed- and they were deeply moved to see Te Reo Māori celebrated across TDG this week. It’s a powerful reminder of how far we have come as a country, and that there is still more work ahead.
Kia ora, mōrena! Let’s keep the mana of te reo alive — for today, tomorrow, and generations to come. This year we celebrate 50 years of Te Wiki o te Reo Māori (Māori Language Week) — a movement that continues to grow in strength and impact across Aotearoa. Te reo Māori is a treasured part of Aotearoa, reminding us of the power of language to preserve culture, identity, and connection. With an office in Aotearoa New Zealand, this week is especially close to our hearts. We’re taking on the @reomaori 50 Reo Challenges — and encourage you to give them a go too! Our team will be giving it a crack in the office this week.
Connecting through community! Last month, our team had the privilege of visiting Cherbourg to take part in a local community celebration held during NAIDOC Week. As part of the day, we set up our CCTV van and VAC truck to demonstrate how our equipment works, answer questions, and engage with the community. For us, it wasn’t just about showcasing technology – it was about sharing knowledge, building trust, and being present. One of the most meaningful moments? Watching our team teach local kids how the equipment works, and lending a hand to help clean out a pump the community had been having issues with. We’re grateful to the Cherbourg community for welcoming us and allowing us to be part of the day. These moments remind us why we do what we do- because when we work together, we all benefit.
A strong workplace isn’t just about performance — it’s about people. That’s why we’re proud to partner with Black Dog Institute to launch a dedicated mental health training programs for our team. Another step in our ongoing commitment to creating a safe, supportive environment where our people feel valued, empowered, and equipped to support one another. The workshops provide: ✔️ Practical mental health strategies ✔️ Tools to support both self and colleagues ✔️ A confidential space for meaningful learning ✔️ Skills to build a resilient, positive workplace culture Because mental health matters.
We’re proud to have taken part in National Reconciliation Week, continuing our commitment to respect, inclusion, and understanding. Across the week, we joined meaningful sessions and workshops to deepen our awareness of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures and histories. We also opened space for honest conversations about reconciliation and how we can build stronger connections with Indigenous communities. These moments of reflection and learning helped us shape a workplace that truly values diversity — where respect and inclusion aren’t just words, but lived values. Together, we move forward with respect, learning, and unity.
Connecting with Community at the KARI Aboriginal Education & Employment Expo We’re proud of the career pathways we offer so it was a real success to connect with so many young people ready to take their next steps. The event brought together organisations passionate about supporting Indigenous employment and education, and it was great to see familiar faces as well as meet like-minded businesses and future talent. Representing TDG, Tyrone Dargan and Annette Stuccio welcomed over 50 students to our stand, sharing opportunities, stories, and a genuine excitement about what’s possible.
Thanks to our amazing TDG community, we collected 782 children’s books for the Aboriginal Literacy Foundation—their largest one-time donation ever! Special thanks to ORIX for providing a van, and to Chris Feil & Halina Lojko, who delivered the books to founder Dr. Anthony Cree and his team in Ballarat. The books are now being sorted and will soon reach young readers, including those in remote NT communities. Helping to improve literacy is just one way we’re supporting regional Indigenous communities in Australia, and we’re proud to support such an important cause!

We were thrilled to sponsor the Grand Final winners of the 2024 First Nations Indigenous Football Cup! Initiated by Keifer Dotti from our Sydney Water division, we were honoured to receive a signed jersey and traditional spears from Keifer, his dad, manager, and coach at the end of last year. Regardless of the result, we’re proud to support Indigenous communities and be part of such a meaningful experience with the Wynnum Wolves! @wynnumwolvesfc
Meet Ngaire, our Employee of the Month! In a traditionally male-dominated industry, she’s breaking barriers and inspiring inclusion every day. Growing up surrounded by diggers and trucks, Ngaire would sit with her brothers who were operators and always knew she wanted to be part of the action. Now, at TDG, she drives trucks, operates diggers, and enjoys connecting with people across New Zealand. She shares her journey to motivate others of all ages to explore opportunities in non-traditional fields. This International Women’s Day, let’s celebrate Ngaire and all the incredible women who inspire inclusion and pave the way for a more diverse workforce and world.
Congratulations, Miriama! We’re proud to celebrate Miriama Tareguci on achieving her New Zealand Certificate in Infrastructure Works (Level 4 – Single Site Supervision)! This certification is a significant milestone, recognising her expertise in project management and construction site operations. Miriama’s journey with Hydrotech began in 2017 as a CCTV Offsider. Her dedication and drive saw her step into a CCTV Operator role before relocating to Wellington in 2021. Seeking growth, she embraced new challenges, earning a promotion to Site Engineer—a role that paved the way for her latest achievement. Balancing work and study is no small feat, but with determination and strong mentorship at TDG, Miriama excelled in her certification. She’s now setting her sights even higher, currently working as a CCTV Data Reviewer while pursuing a Diploma in Civil Engineering. Join us in celebrating Miriama’s success—we can’t wait to see what’s next for her!
