Taking part in National Reconciliation Week

Posted by on Friday, May 30th, 2025 in

We’re proud to be taking part in National Reconciliation Week, continuing our commitment to respect, inclusion, and understanding. Across the week, we’re joining meaningful sessions and workshops to deepen our awareness of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures and histories. We’re also opening space for honest conversations about reconciliation and how we can build stronger connections with Indigenous communities. These moments of reflection and learning help us shape a workplace that truly values diversity — where respect and inclusion aren’t just words, but lived values. Together, we move forward with respect, learning, and unity.

In January, we held an intensive 2-day off-site training at Caroline Springs, Melbourne, with 19 account managers from NZ, SA, VIC, NSW, and QLD. The focus? Enhancing skills to better serve our customers working on critical infrastructure programs across Australia and NZ. From tackling complex problems to improving communication of solutions, our team sharpened their ability to create real value for clients. A big thank you to the Australian Institute of Management @aimcomau for facilitating the training and helping us cultivate a growth mindset that will continue to benefit our clients moving forward.

Posted by on Friday, May 30th, 2025 in

Thanks to our amazing TDG community, we collected 782 children’s books for the Aboriginal Literacy Foundation—their largest one-time donation ever! Special thanks to ORIX for providing a van, and to Chris Feil & Halina Lojko, who delivered the books to founder Dr. Anthony Cree and his team in Ballarat. The books are now being sorted and will soon reach young readers, including those in remote NT communities. Helping to improve literacy is just one way we’re supporting regional Indigenous communities in Australia, and we’re proud to support such an important cause!

Meet Ngaire, our Employee of the Month! In a traditionally male-dominated industry, she’s breaking barriers and inspiring inclusion every day. Growing up surrounded by diggers and trucks, Ngaire would sit with her brothers who were operators and always knew she wanted to be part of the action. Now, at TDG, she drives trucks, operates diggers, and enjoys connecting with people across New Zealand. She shares her journey to motivate others of all ages to explore opportunities in non-traditional fields. This International Women’s Day, let’s celebrate Ngaire and all the incredible women who inspire inclusion and pave the way for a more diverse workforce and world.
